UTGP is Uniqlo’s annual T-shirt (UT) Grand Prix design contest. The theme for UTGP 2015 is Star Wars. UTGP design contest started in 2005. Previous themes include Six World-Renowned Artists (including Madonna and KISS) in 2013, Coca-Cola in 2012, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in 2011.

MH370 is a Malaysian Airlines (MAS) codeshare flight with China Southern Airlines CZ748 that departed from Kuala Lumpur at 12.41am on 8 March, and was expected to land in Beijing at 6.30am on the same day. Subang Air Traffic Control lost contact with MH370 as it was just about to hand over to Ho Chi Minh Air Traffic Control Centre at 1.22am, and reported it missing to MAS at 2.40am. No distress call or black box signal was detected. Authorities from China and Thailand stated that MH370 did not enter their airspace. The fate of 239 people (227 passengers and 12 crew members) remains unknown.

The Coffee Art Project is a high profile art competition linked to the theme of coffee; it is one of the core initiatives of UK Coffee Week. Organized in collaboration with Tate Modern and Tate Britain, the competition aims to showcase the creativity of emerging artists, while engaging those who share a passion for great coffee. Artworks submitted will be auctioned at The London Coffee Festival with all proceeds supporting much-needed clean water and sanitation initiatives in coffee producing countries.

JAR (www.justanotherreason.net), an online street arts hub approached indie art collectives in UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taipei and went on to co-found the non-profit Feel Good Project (www.feelgoodproject.net). For a good time and a good cause, the Feel Good Project organized three fundraising events for ORBIS in Hong Kong and Taipei to fight against global blindness. Works from over 50 famous and up and coming artists around the world were also introduced along with interacting art activity and live music.
